Opel celebrated 125 years of automotive production at its headquarters.
The motto of the festivities was “Forever forward since 1899”. The guests of honour at the ceremony in the Adam Opel Haus included German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the Prime Minister of the Federal State of Hesse Boris Rhein as well as Stellantis Chairman John Elkann, CEO Carlos Tavares and Xavier Chéreau, Stellantis Chief Human Resources & Transformation Officer and Opel Supervisory Board Chairman. Opel offered several thousand visitors a varied supporting programme around the Adam Opel Haus at the Open Door Day. The German brand presented an anniversary exhibition with automotive milestones from the last 125 years. To mark its 60th anniversary, the Opel Design Center also opened its doors and presented groundbreaking concept cars from past and present. Interested visitors were also given the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of production in the plant. Rally fans had the exclusive chance to ride along in the Opel Corsa Rally Electric while young and old could test the Rocks Electric

SUV's are going to be heavily taxed here in Ireland soon, they are hated over here. 1. They're too big, car parking especially has gotten a lot worse. 2. They're heavier and tend to cause more damage in an accident. 3. Heavier means poor MPG/KPL and tyre wear. 4. Higher center of gravity leading to increased possibility of loss of control or overturning going around a corner. 5. SUV's are bad for the environment. And who is styling these monstrosities? Bring back the Vectra or Omega.

After all these years, Opel had many great models like KAD line, (kapitan, admiral, diplomat), Senator, Rekord, Monza, Commodore or Manta. Where are they now?? Why opel focused on only small SUVs??? Why back then Opel had many fast models like GSI or OPC ???? Today only 1.6 turbo hybrid left. nothing intreresting

Ich gratuliere auch ganz herzlich zum Jubiläum von Opel! Dennoch wissen wir alle, dass die meisten Kunden keine E Mobilität wollen und das kann man an den Absatzmengen erkennen. Wir als Kunden hoffen sehr, dass Sie dennoch als Unternehmen weiterhin an alternativen Kraftstoffen arbeiten und nicht alles den eingesetzten Politikern überlassen.
alles was ich mir wünsche ist die rückkehr des calibra... ein sportliches coupe... da ist ein leerer platz im aktuellen fahrzeugsegment von opel... nicht noch mehr suvs und crossovers, davon gibt es genug. aber auch der e-manta wäre sehr wünschenswert

Mein Opel Corsa E 1.4 von 2018 ist ein Uhrwerk und diente vor mir einem Opel Mitarbeiter in Rüsselsheim als Werksauto. 💪🏻. Alles gute und auf die nächsten 125 Jahre. Ich bin sehr auf den Frontera gespannt 😊.
Dann tritt mal der Geschäftsführung in den Arsch, das mal ein Langstrecken und praktisches E-Auto zu Verfügung steht und nicht nur ein Corsa dieser nichts bietet oder ein Astra der so teuer ist wie ein Hyundai Ioniq6 der ein größeren Akku hat und eine höhere Ladeleistung.

Wann entwickelt ihr wieder einen Motor, der nicht nach 70.000km seinen ersten Motorschaden hat und eine 6 Gang Handschaltung hat.
Jeder Motor schafft mehr als 70.000km. Ausnahme bestätigen die Regel.
Wenn Stellantis einen entwickelt?
Wieso gibts dann Rückrufe, weil der Ölfilter vom Zahnriemen verstopft wird. Dann gibt es Rückrufe, weil die Kupplung schon ausbricht nach wenigen Kilometern.

@@OpelWann kommt endlich die Entscheidung dass, das Akkuwerk in Kaiserslautern gebaut? Wann kommt ein Akku der mit 800V System betrieben wird und eine Ladeleistung von 250kW hat? Wann wird das Navigation System von Corsa und Mokka auf den neuesten Stand Updates? Wann werden die Preise auf das Niveau angepasst? Wann wird die Ladeleistung in kWh angegeben und der Akku geheizt? Wann gibt es einen Frunck? Wann gibt es ein Auto das ohne Rückruf auf die Straße kommt?
